Obtaining Usable Isometric Graphics
There are alot of isometric games out there that you
can get ideas or graphics from. Simple screenshots from games at gaming sites is a
source. Now, the objects like walls or floors, have to be cut out with a paint
program and then pasted into the FSH editor. Sometimes additional processing
is required, like resizing or brightness. But, with some games you can even get a
graphics viewer program and this would save you the time cutting it out of
screenshot. Below is a list of games I've found that can contain potentially usable
ideas or graphics.
- Diablo 1 & 2
- Baldur's Gate 1 & 2
- Planescape: Torment
- Icewind Dale 1
& 2
- Pool Of Radiance
- Fallout Tactics
- Ultima 8
- The Sims & Expansion Packs
- Sim City 3000
- Crusader-No Regret AND Crusader-No Remorse
- Tropico
- Revenant
- 1600 A.D. (Mideval Sim City)
- Gangsters
- Abomination
The following are games that have a slightly different perspective ratio but can
still be used if modified.-
Fallout 1 & 2
- Star Trek - Away Team
- Commandoes

could use the screenshots from.- Ultima Online (different perspective ratio
)
